Homework

Since the book does not have homework assignments, I will be constructing the homework assignments myself. It is likely there will be some points of confusion or even contradictory instructions. In most cases I will allow at least one class period between when the homework is assigned and due date to allow you to ask questions or request clarification. Ambiguous instructions are not an excuse for failing to complete homework or for turning in homework late.

My intention for the timing of the homework is that you work on it when it is assigned. You should complete it by the next class unless you have a question or problem. You should not delay starting the homework until it is due. There should be time at the end of most classes to work on homework.

Homework should be submitted as requested in on the assignment. This will include paper submission, email submission and submission to drop box. In all cases, homework must be completed and turned in by the due date. Late homework will not be accepted.

Please note, all homework assignments are of equal weight.

• Homework one is due at the beginning of class on Jan 30.
• Homework two is due at the beginning of class on Feb 1. There will be special instructions for submitting this homework in future assignments. Please complete the homework and save the file somewhere you can access it during class.
• Homework three is due at the beginning of class on Feb 6. Again, we will use this file for submissions in the next few classes so make sure you complete and save this document somewhere you can find it.
• Homework four is due by the beginning of class on Feb 8. You will be submitting homework two and three for this homework.
• Homework five is due by the beginning of class on Feb 15. This should be posted to the assignments section of D2L.
• Homework six is due by the beginning of class on Feb 20. This should be posted to the assignments section of D2L in the folder Formatting Part 1.
• Homework seven is due by the beginning of class on Feb 22. This should be posted to the assignments section of D2L in the folder Formatting Part 2.
• Homework eight is due by the beginning of class on March 8. This should be posted to the assignments section of D2L in the folder References.
• Homework nine is due by the beginning of class on March 8. This should be posted to the assignments section of D2L in the folder Headers.
• Homework ten is due by the beginning of class March 20. This should be posted to the assignment sections of D2L in the Formatting Pi folder.
• Homework eleven is due by the beginning of class March 22. This should be posted to the assignment sections of D2L in the Highland Games folder.
• Homework twelve is due by the beginning of class March 29. This should be posted to the assignment sections of D2L in the Simple Accounting folder.
