Groupwork
Group assignments will be posted here as they are assigned.
Groupwork, much like homework, is intended to provide students practice with the
concepts discussed in class and in the book. True understanding is only
available with practice. In addition, groupwork provides you with the opportunity to develop your skills interacting with others in a work like environment.
Groupwork is one of the ABET required student learning outcomes for the computer science program. "Students will function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program's discipline."
Unless specified otherwise, all work assigned to a group must meet the conditions described in the homework portion of this class. The major difference is that work on the assignment is to be performed by all members of the group.
Unless special conditions are given in the assignment, your group may operate in any manner you wish. You must:
- Elect a leader who is minimally responsible for timely submission of the work.
- Divide the work somehow so that each member has a roughly equal amount of work to perform.
- Review the work together to assure completeness, correctness, quality, originality and adherence to academic honesty standards.

- The materials from the assignment. This is submitted by the group leader to their D2L account for the indicated assignment.
- A completed group assignment from. This is submitted by all members of the group individually to their D2L account for the indicated assignment.
