Policy Changes for Moving the Class On-Line
- Class Meetings
- I plan to hold class meetings as normal. This might change, but I want to give it a try.
- I will use this classroom for our class.
- We really only have two "regular" classes left.
- I think I should be able to run the unreal editor and share it with you.
- You will need to ask questions
- You don't need a webcam if you don't have one.
- But I will not be able to see your reaction, so ask.
- Office Hours
- My office hours are
- MWF 9:00 to 10:00 AM
- TR 2:00 t0 3:00 PM
- I will be "in" or monitoring my virtual office during these times.
- I am happy to meet with you outside of these times, but I will not be monitoring the zoom meeting.
- Please contact me and we will arrange a meeting time, email or phone.
- On-Line Office
- Be patient, I am not sure that I will notice when you come in the "room".
- Also, Zoom kicks a meeting off after 45 minutes of inactivity.
- If I don't get to you quickly, please send an email.
- Test
- This was a take home anyway so my plans are not changed here.
- If you don't have the ability to run Unreal please let me know right now.
- Presentations
- We will continue with our plan for presentations.
- You need to prepare a powerpoint to show to the class.
- I will allow you to share your screen with the class.
- We can hold practice sessions if you wish before your presentation, please get in touch.
- If you have not yet scheduled your presentation, DO SO NOW.
- Projects:
- This will will be the area with the maximum impact.
- I think we can do these however.
- Some changes
- Since we lost the last week, we will drop the C++ requirement.
- We can move the group work to Git, I will discuss this next week.
- You can hold group meetings via Zoom, or other shared media that you might be comfortable with.
- Group leader, please get in contact with me so we can discuss this.
- Homework:
- Homework 4 is still due on March 31.
- You will need to submit it via Git, details to follow.
