Catalog Description

This course introduces students to communicating with operating systems through an application programming interface (API). Students will write programs in high level programming languages to interact with various operating systems. Additionally, students will study script programming with a focus on interacting with and configuring operating systems and performing systems administration tasks. Prerequisite: CSCI 230.
