Using WinSCP to Edit Files on Windows and Compile on Linux
This pattern allows a remote user to employ WinSCP and a graphical editor on a windows machine and PuTTY on a remote machine to produce code.
Pros:
Minimal local (window) software installation
Graphical editing.
Cons:
Network connection required
No other graphical tools.
