Homework 2: Email
The goals of this homework are:
- Make sure that you can send an attachment via email.
- Check your understanding of the To, CC and BCC fields of an email message.
- Check your understanding of email etiquette.
For parts 1- show the results/provide answers in a word document.
- [20%] You may do this portion by yourself, or working with a friend, classmate or just someone willing to help.
- Send/receive three messages. Each message should have a single recipient. In the body of the message indicate the message number as specifified below.
- Message 1: list the recipient in the TO: field only.
- Message 2: list the recipient in the CC: field only.
- Message 3: list the recipient in the BCC: field only.
- For each message take a screen shot showing the recipients of the message. (There should be screen shots of three email messages in the document. Circle the recipient type for each message.)
- Place these screen shots in a word document, labeling each.
- [20%] Explain when it is appropriate to use the TO, CC, and BCC fields in an email message.
- [20%] In the word document, provide a brief critique for each of the following messages.
