Research Paper

You are to write a research paper covering some aspect of computer networking and data communications. The range of topics is very broad and should match a subject in which you are interested. An abstract, with a bibliography, is due on March 5, while the final paper is due when you give the associated presentation during the 15^th week of the semester.

The paper should be well written. It should include full sentences, well formed paragraphs with introductions and conclusions.

You should use appropriate citations and bibliographical references. For this course we will use the ACM Style Guide. [1] for bibliographical references, and the current Chicago Manual of Style for all other matters. I found the examples at Dalhouse University [2] very helpful.

Plagiarism will result in failure, so make sure that you cite all references and use quotation marks appropriately.
