Grades
Grades will be based on performance on a number of measurements. It is
important that you participate in all of these measurements. If you must
miss one of these measurements, please contact the instructor to arrange
a make up.

All work submitted should follow these guidelines
Grades will be assigned as follows:

0% - 59% | F |
60% - 69% | D |
70% - 79% | C |
80% - 89% | B |
90% - 100% | A |
I reserve the right to lower the ranges in this table if I feel that it is
appropriate. I will not raise the standards of performance.
Graduate Students
Graduate students are required to do an additional research paper. This paper
must be related to their area of interest/thesis topic. The paper can be over
a less technical aspect of networking and data communications. This paper must
contain an annotated bibliography. Please submit a topic proposal by March 5.
This paper is due May 5 at the time of the final exam. The course described
above will count for 80% of your grade and this project will count
for 20% of your grade.
