Grades

Grades will be assigned as follows:

Points	Grade
0 - 59	F
60 - 69	D
70 - 79	C
80 - 89	B
90 - 100	A

I reserve the right to lower the ranges in this table if I feel that it is appropriate. I will not raise the standards of performance.

Your grade will consist of the following components:

Hands On Exercises: 5%

Practice Exercises: 10%

Mid Level Exercises: 15%

Capstone/Beyond Exercises: 20%

Final Project: 10%

Total: 60%

Test 1 : 20%

Test 2: 20%

Total: 40%

A note on due dates:

Homework for a chapter is assigned the day we cover that chapter. It should be completed and submitted within two class days from when it is assigned.

All homework, no matter what, are due before the test over that subject. Word and power point will be due by the test on July 30. Excel and web pages are due by the test on Aug 14.

The final project is due on Aug 15, with portions due before that time.

Tests:

Concepts 1, word, and power point: Monday July 30
Excel, Web, Concepts 2: Tuesday August 14.
