Hands On Exercises

When grading Hands On Exercises I will record a score of credit for each one that is turned in correctly. In the end I will divide your score by the total number of exercises available and multiply by 10. This will give you between 0 and 10 points for this section.

When you have completed all of the hands on exercises for a chapter, please notify me and I will look at them and give you credit for them. Before you contact me, please have all of your work up on the screen. I anticipate that this will be accomplished durring work periods in the class.

Please make sure that you follow all instructions, but instructions given here preempt instructions in the exercises.

Please do not send mail to bennett@edinboro.edu, this is not me and I cannot grade homework submitted to this address.

A note on the numbering system I use. Exercises are identified by the software package they are associated with, the chapter and the exercise number. For example Exercise 1 in the first chapter of word (Pages 10 - 16) is numbered WORD 1.1, exercise 2, pages 19-23 is WORD 1.2.

Unless I ask you to do so, please do not print any of these ecercises.

  These exercises are in the back of all three books. They have a red bar at the bottom of the page. Even if you are familiar with windows, you should run through these exercises.
