Practical portion, Test 2, Spring 2002
- Please Complete the folowing task.
- Make sure that your name is on the test.
- Please do not retreive your test from the printer. You may look at
the test after it has been printed, but let Doug or I deal with the printer.
- Make sure that you save often. You should still have a working document
even if your machine crashes, or you kill your document by accident.
- You must turn in what you have completed by the end of class.
- You may use your books.
- All tasks described should be completed, and your document should match
the example document as closely as possible.
- If your machine is missing a font or clip art described, you may use a
substitute.
Start with word art, the text should be "Test 2, CSCI 104"
Insert a scroll underneath that contains
- Your name
- Your section (9:30 = 5, 11:00 = 6)
- Today's Date (March 21, 2002)
Insert header "A History of Edinboro University of PA"
Footnote this title.
- The text of the footnote should read "from www.goerie.com"
- www.goerie.com should be a link to the webpage listed below.
Go to
www.tourerie.com/communities/edinboro.shtml or
here and insert the three paragraphs from this text
that describe the university. (The college has been the ...).
Go to the university web page (www.edinboro.edu) and get a picture of
the bagpiper.
- Insert this picture into your document.
- Crop out any text or graphics
- Center the picture, and wrap text around it.
- A copy of the picture is here.
Add a table containing the folowing data:
