One Note Practical Test

Fall 2014.

Instructions

  1. (5 points) Start OneNote 2013 and create a new notebook.
  2. (4 points) Name the default section Test Instructions yourname
  3. (2 points) Name the default page in the Test Instructions section Last Minute Check
  4. (1 point) Put your name as a note at the top of this page.
  5. (4 points) Add a note with the following list of things to do
  6. (2 points) Mark each of the four above items with a to do tag.
  7. (2 points) Mark the last two items (Print the PDF file and Email the PDF file) with the important tag.
  8. (3 points) Add a note to the right of your checklist that contains the following
  9. (3 points) Add a bulleted list to the note you just created, this list should contain
  10. (2 points) Tag the items of the bulleted list with the Remember for later tag.

  11. (5 points) Below the Test Tasks note, add a link to the test webpage.
  12. (5 points) Place a small screenshot of the fist two of the test instructions next to the link.
  13. (5 points) Using the drawing tool, circle the web link and draw an arrow to the instructions screen shot.

  14. (3 points) Create a subpage to the Last Minute Check page called Searching For Tags
  15. (1 point) Put your name as a note at the top of this page.
  16. (4 points) On this subpage, insert a note which describes how to locate all tagged items.
  17. (3 points) Place a note to the right of the last note which describes how to navigate to a tag which you have located using your procedure.
  18. (4 points) Find all tags in your document, include a picture in this page of the notebook to show that this has been accomplished.

    Note: the previous step might not be accomplished in an obvious manner.

  19. (2 point) You have finished the test, mark the Finish the test to do item as accomplished (check it off)
  20. (5 points) Save the notebook as a PDF file.
  21. (5 points) Print the PDF file to the printer in the lab.
  22. (5 points) Email the PDF file as an attachment to your instructor.
