Publishing with Word

• To do this, you need to have set up your web pages on cluster.edinboro.edu
• Follow the instructions on page 267 of the word book.
• For the Add/Modify FTP Locations step:
  • The machine you want to connect to is cluster.edinboro.edu
  • You will use your email username and password as before
• When uploading your files (step 2, page 268)
  • You need to put them in the www dirctory
• After you save your page, you can load it in IE
  • In this case, I saved the file as mypage
  • The url is http://www.edinboro.edu/~dbennett/mypage.htm
• If you want to make changes in your page, you need to change them in word and re-save the file.
• You will need to tell your browser to refresh the image
• 
• There are times when it takes a bit for the system to get the new image, so you need to be patient.
• If you want this to be your default file, call it home.html
• The url for this is www.edinboro.edu/~yourname

Multiple Page Web Sites

• The web wizard in 6.3 doesn't make pages that we can transfer without messing with them.
• If I would like to make a link from my main page to a second page, how would I accomplish this.
