Using your Microsoft One Drive
- We will begin using Microsoft One Drive through a web interface.
- All screenshots are using google chrome.
- I assume you have already accomplished the task in the previous set of notes.
- You have a CSCI 104 folder on disk somewhere.
- You have Office Fundamentals folder inside of the CSCI 104 folder.
- The datafiles for Office Fundamentals are inside of that folder.

- Connecting to Microsoft One Drive
- In a new tab in your browser go to https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/
- Click on the Sign in are on the right.

- Sign in with your EUP email address and password.
- Use your full email address: you@edinboro.edu
- This will bring up a screen that looks something like this:

- A new folder
- Create a folder for CSCI 104
- Select New and Folder

- Enter CSCI 104 as the name and select Create

- You can select the folder by clicking on it.
- Uploading your files.
- Many ways to do this.
- The Upload button.
- Upload, folder, select the folder, ok.

- This is really easy.
- Drag
- Open the File Explorer and navigate to the Office Fundamentals folder.
- Highlight all the files and drag them to the browser.

- I am sure that there are others.
- And now editing a file.
- Let's change f01h4Flyer.docx
- Right click on it to bring up a menu.

- Select Open In Word
This will bring up a warning

- Tell it to Launch Application
- You may get further warnings, but tell it to go ahead and open the document.
- And to Enable Editing

- Change something. In this case, I underlined the title.
- Save the file and exit.
- Now back to the browser and open it in Word Online
- Notice your changes are there.
