Death by Power Point
If you search the web, you will find quite a few criticisms of power point presentations. I very much like Matthew A. Christian's
Death by Power Point or Twelve Steps to Better E-Presentations.
- Read this document, twice.
- Create a Power Point presentation illustrating this document.
- Provide a title slide which includes your name.
- Provide an introduction slide, include the name of the paper and the author.
- Create a slide for each step stating the step and explaining the step.
- For steps 3, 5 ,6, 7 and 9 create two slides:
- The first should be an example of a slide that does not follow this advice.
- The second should be an example of the slide reworked so that it does follow the advice.
