Exporting and Printing OneNote Notebooks

• This is only partially covered in the book.
• But it is reasonably straight forward.
• Printing is accomplished through File then selecting Print
• Printing is intended to produce a final non-editable version of a document.
• Select either Print or Print Preview
  • Print preview gives you some control over what you will print.
  • The Print interface gives you some control over where you will print.
    • Printing to OneNote might not be the best thing.
    • Printing to a PDF file
    • Printing to a printer.
    • 
• Exporting is intended to produce a version of a work in a different format.
• Your options for exporting depend on what you want to export
  • Single pages have the widest ability for export.
  • Notebooks are most restricted
  • Choices for OneNote Notebooks include
    • XPS - Open XML Paper Specification, a fixed-document format.
    • PDF - Portable Document Format.
    • OneNote package - this is a Microsoft format that allows you to export an entire notebook.
  • Pages and Sections add
    • Word documents
    • Web page files.
