Connecting to archimedes.cs.edinboro.edu

Notes

• You must make sure that you are connected to the CS vpn.
  1. These notes were provided by ITS
  2. Download the FortiClient at (https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn).
  3. Create a new connection:
     • VPN: SSL-VPN
     • Connection Name: CS Network
     • Remote Gateway: vpn.cs.pennwst.edu
     • Customized Port: 8443
     • Enable Single Sign On(SSO) for VPN Tunnel
     • Use external browser as user-agent for saml user authentication
  4. Save this connection
  5. Select this connection from the drop down menu
  6. Use your browser to open a connection to a PennWest Login page (my.pennwest.edu will do)
  7. You should receive a message stating "VPN Connecting"
• You should now be able to use your standard tools to connect to archimedes.cs.edinboro.edu
