In the last video I forgot to introduce another option.
For this class, I believe that an on-line environment will work as well.
There are many of these, but I like online-java.com
- This will work for the first part of the semester at least.
- This may not be a long term solution however
  - I do not know the requirements for your future classes.
  - You may need to get Java working on your computer in the future.
For the homework
- I want you to establish your Java environment.
- I will ask for a word document with a screen shot.
- Demo how to insert a screen shot.
A word about homework
- You are part of an ABET accredited program.
- As such, there are established Student Outcomes.
- Number 3 is "an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences."
- So I expect you to communicate in an effective and professional manner.
  - Be neat, and be clear
  - Take pride in your work and present it effectively.
  - Look at it after you have finished, does it make sense.
